Cruz Control Entertainment proudly announces “Mis Raíces Latinas,” a major celebration of Latin music, heritage and culture coming to PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, featuring Frank Reyes, DJ Adoni and Yenddi.
Presented by Ricardo Cruz Owner of Cruz Control Entertainment, Mis Raíces Latinas — “My Latin Roots” — was created with a purpose that extends beyond the concert stage: to celebrate where we come from, honor the music and traditions that connect generations, and bring together the diverse Latino communities of Pennsylvania and the Northeast for one unforgettable night. The name “Mis Raíces Latinas” was conceived by Stefanny Cruz, whose creative vision captured the meaning and purpose behind the event. The name reflects a celebration of heritage, identity, music and the cultural roots that connect Latino communities across nationalities and generations. By giving the event a name centered on its cultural purpose, Stefanny Cruz helped establish the identity and message that Cruz Control Entertainment hopes will resonate throughout the Latino community: different countries, different traditions and different stories, united by shared roots and a love of music. The event brings together three distinctive forces in Dominican music: a legendary voice who has helped define modern bachata, one of the most recognizable Dominican DJs and entertainers of his generation, and a rising singer-songwriter currently making his mark on Dominican radio.
FRANK REYES — “EL PRÍNCIPE DE LA BACHATA” Headlining Mis Raíces Latinas is internationally acclaimed bachata artist Frank Reyes, widely celebrated as “El Príncipe de la Bachata.” Born Francisco López Reyes in the Dominican Republic, Reyes began his recording career in the early 1990s and has since become one of the most recognizable and enduring voices in bachata. For more than three decades, his distinctive romantic style has connected with generations of listeners throughout the Dominican Republic, Latin America, the United States and beyond. His extensive catalog includes beloved bachata songs such as “Tú Eres Ajena,” “Quién Eres Tú,” “Princesa,” “Amor a Distancia,” “Vine a Decirte Adiós” and “Con el Amor No Se Juega.” Reyes’ longevity and influence have earned him significant recognition throughout the Dominican music industry, including multiple honors in the bachata category at the awards now known as Premios Soberano. His appearance at PPL Center will bring one of bachata’s most celebrated voices to an arena stage in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.
DJ ADONI — BRINGING THE ENERGY OF TODAY’S DOMINICAN CULTURE Joining Frank Reyes at Mis Raíces Latinas is DJ Adoni, the Dominican DJ, producer and entertainer known for his infectious energy, unmistakable personality and ability to connect audiences through bachata, merengue, dembow, reggaeton and other Latin sounds. Born Julio Adonis Gross and originally from Los Mina in Santo Domingo, DJ Adoni later established himself in the United States, where he built a major following through live events, nightlife, digital platforms and social media. His international profile expanded through his collaboration with Farruko and Víctor Cárdenas on “El Incomprendido,” further introducing his signature energy to a global Latin audience. DJ Adoni has become much more than a traditional DJ. His personality, audience interaction and ability to turn performances into celebrations have made him a recognizable figure within contemporary Dominican entertainment. At PPL Center, he will bring the high energy party experience that has become his trademark.
YENDDI — A RISING VOICE IN THE NEW GENERATION OF BACHATA Completing the Mis Raíces Latinas lineup is Dominican singer-songwriter Yenddi, an emerging artist helping carry contemporary bachata into its next generation. Originally from La Vega, Dominican Republic, Yenddi developed his craft as a songwriter before increasingly stepping forward as a recording artist and performer in his own right. Yenddi arrives at PPL Center during an important period in his career. His bachata single “Soldado Engañado” reached the No. 1 position on radio in the Dominican Republic according to Monitor Latino, marking an important milestone in his growing presence within the genre. His catalog also includes songs such as “La Princesa (Le Dolió),” “Yo No He Llorado” and “Jugando a Ser Feliz,” while his 2026 project “46 Meses” represents another step forward in his development as a solo artist. His appearance alongside Frank Reyes creates a special generational connection: one of bachata’s established icons sharing the PPL Center stage with an artist representing the genre’s future.
MIS RAÍCES LATINAS — ONE NIGHT. MANY CULTURES. ONE COMMUNITY. The name “Mis Raíces Latinas,” conceived by Stefanny Cruz, represents the vision behind the entire event. While Frank Reyes, DJ Adoni and Yenddi share Dominican roots, the celebration is intended for the entire Latino community. It is a night dedicated to remembering where we come from, celebrating the cultures that shaped us and recognizing the common bond that music creates among Latinos from different countries and generations. “We are incredibly proud to introduce Mis Raíces Latinas to Allentown and the entire Lehigh Valley,” said Ricardo Cruz of Cruz Control Entertainment.
“At Cruz Control Entertainment, our vision extends beyond producing a concert. Mis Raíces Latinas represents something deeply important to us — celebrating our roots while creating a space where different cultures and generations can come together. Music has an extraordinary ability to unite people, and that is exactly what we want this event to accomplish.”
“The name Mis Raíces Latinas was created by Stefanny Cruz, and she deserves recognition for capturing in three words exactly what we want this event to represent. The name speaks to our heritage, our families, our music and the cultures that remain a part of us no matter where we live.”
“While Frank Reyes, DJ Adoni and Yenddi proudly represent the rich musical heritage of the Dominican Republic, Mis Raíces Latinas is a celebration for everyone. We look forward to welcoming fans with roots throughout the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and every part of the Latino community for one unforgettable night under one roof.”
“Our roots may come from different countries, but music gives us something we can celebrate together. That is the spirit of Mis Raíces Latinas. We are honored to bring this event to PPL Center and excited to welcome the entire community to Allentown on October 17.”
A MAJOR LATIN MUSIC CELEBRATION IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY Allentown and the surrounding Lehigh Valley have developed into an important center of Latino culture in Pennsylvania, making PPL Center a fitting destination for Mis Raíces Latinas. The concert is positioned to welcome fans not only from Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, but from communities throughout Reading, Hazleton, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York and the surrounding Northeast region.
